Notice of Intention to issue an Order in Council revoking the Reservation over the Atuaroa Domain, Auckland Land District.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section forty-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), it is provided that the Governor-General may from time to time by Order in Council, but subject to compliance with the requirements of subsection two of section seven of the said Act, declare that the land comprised in a public domain or part thereof shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, may declare either that such land shall be a public reserve for the purposes of Part I of the said Act, or Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is known as the Atuaroa Domain but is not required for domain purposes, and it is expedient to revoke the reservation over the said land:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby give notice, pursuant to subsection two of section seven of the said Act, that it is my intention to issue an Order in Council under the provisions of section forty-one of the said Act declaring that the Atuaroa Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act, and shall be deemed to be Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
AUOKLAND LAND DISTRICT.--ATUAROA DOMAIN.
ALL those areas containing together by admeasurement 19 acres O roods 11.65 perches, more or less, being parts Blocks I, II, III, and IV, and Blocks VII and VIII, Atuaroa Village, and being the areas described in the Schedule to the Warrant published in the Gazette of the 15th September, 1932, at page 1998.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 7 acres 3 roods 19.1 perches, more or less, being Section 74, Block II, Maketu Survey District, formerly portions of Atuaroa and Otawa Streets, and First and Second Avenues, Atuaroa Village, closed by Gazette, 1933, page 6. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/2241B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. Appointment of Officer for the Purposes of the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section two of the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Andrew Wilson Jamieson an officer for the purposes of the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 29th day of July, 1935.

Notice bringing Public Recreation Reserve, Thames Borough, within the Operation of the Mining Act, 1926.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section twenty-five of the Mining Act, 1926, and of every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the land particularly described in the Schedule hereto shall be brought within the operation of the Mining Act, 1926, as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, and do hereby further declare that mining operations shall be restricted to a clearance of one chain from the railway reclaiming wall or other work.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, in the Borough of Thames, containing by admeasurement 35 acres 2 roods 16.2 perches, more or less, being portion of the Thames foreshore set aside for the purpose of a recreation-ground by section 17 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1921-22, situated in Block IV, Thames Survey District, bounded as follows: Towards the north-east generally by the railway, 1956.77, 269.23, 966.37, and 969.4 links; towards the south-east, south-west, again south-east, again south-west, and north generally by the Thames Harbour Board property (C.T. 47/225), 712.56, 1093.2, 860.2, 3168.06, and 911.34 links respectively; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked Mines N. 10/11/241, deposited in the Head Office, Mines Department, Wellington, and thereon edged red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, this 9th day of August, 1935.

Revoking Notice exempting Crown Lands from certain Provisions of the Mining Act, 1926.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section seven of the Mining Act, 1926, and of every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, as from the date of the publication hereof in the Gazette, revoke the notice dated the second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, and published in the Gazette on the ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, at page 2718, exempting Crown lands from certain provisions of the Mining Act, 1926.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 23rd day of July, 1935.

Additional Members of Domain Boards appointed.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased, in pursuance of section 46 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, to increase the total number of members of--
(1) The Kimbolton Domain Board from seven to eight, and to appoint James Davidson Waugh as the additional member thereby rendered necessary.
(2) The Makaka Domain Board from four to five, and to appoint Francis Ernest Gargan as the additional member thereby rendered necessary.
