Any weight in excess of 8 tons per four-wheeled wagon will be charged at the rate of 12s. 6d. per ton. Owners to load and unload. Quantities of less than 5 tons per four-wheeled wagon will be charged for at the rate of 20s. per ton. Small lots pro rata. Minimum charge, 1s. Minimum, ten four-wheeled wagons per week from Palmerston North to Wellington and/or Wellington to Palmerston North. Participation in this rate is subject to the conclusion of a special agreement with the Department. |
