JAMES BARCLAY AND COMPANY, LIMITED.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general
meeting of the above-named company duly convened
and held on the 3rd day of July, 1935, the following resolution
was passed:—

  1. That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities
    continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up, and
    that the company be wound up by a creditors’ voluntary
    winding up.
  2. That in pursuance of section 235 of the Companies Act,
    1933, ARTHUR JOHN STEED, of Wairoa, be and is hereby
    appointed liquidator of the company.
    And that such resolutions and appointment were confirmed by
    a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company
    held on 3rd July, 1935.

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY.

NOTICE is hereby given that Khaki Manufacturing
Company, Limited, has changed its name to Army
Stores, Limited, and that the new name was this day entered
on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that by resolution entered in the
minute-book of the above company and dated the
6th day of July, 1935, it was resolved that the company be
wound up voluntarily, and that NORMAN KENNETH SLIGO,
of Dunedin, Company-manager, and HENRY KRAENS POPPEL-
WELL, of Dunedin, Sharebroker, be appointed liquidators
for the purposes of such winding up.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

TAKE notice that on the 29th day of June, 1935, at
Christchurch, a special resolution was passed by
entry in the minute-book of the company in accordance with
section 300 of the Companies Act, 1933, that O. A. Bridgewater
and Company, Limited, go into voluntary liquidation, and
that OSMOND ARTHUR BRIDGEWATER, of Christchurch,
Company Director, be appointed liquidator.

registered with the object of acquiring the assets of the above

Zealand, 1935, now residing in Auckland, hereby give
notice that I intend applying on the 2nd August next to have
my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion
of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of
my qualification in the office of the Department of Health at
Auckland.

Shareholders’ Meeting.

NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the
company will be held at the liquidator’s office, Canter-
bury Chamber of Commerce, at 2.30 p.m. in the afternoon of
Monday, the twenty-ninth day of July, 1935, pursuant to
section 241 of the Companies Act, 1933, for the purpose of
laying before the meeting the liquidator’s statement and
report in connection with the winding up.

Creditors’ Meeting.

In accordance with section 241 of the Companies Act, 1933,
notice is hereby given that a meeting of creditors of the above-
named company will be held in the liquidator’s office, Can-
terbury Chamber of Commerce, at 3 p.m. in the afternoon of
Monday, the twenty-ninth day of July, 1935, for the purpose
of receiving liquidator’s final report and statement of accounts.

NOTICE is hereby given by the above company that a
meeting of the creditors of the company will, pursuant
to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, be held at the
offices of Messrs. Hogg and Stewart, Solicitors, T. and G.
Building, Grey Street, Wellington, on Tuesday, the 16th day
of July, 1935, at 2.15 o’clock in the afternoon, to consider a
resolution for winding up passed by the company on the 6th
day of July, 1935, and to nominate one or more persons as
liquidator, to fix his or their remuneration, and (if thought fit)
to appoint a committee of inspection, and for the purposes of
the said section 234.

OPOTIKI BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Loans Conversion (No. 1).

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest
Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the
Opotiki Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1935 (No. 1), the
Opotiki Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instal-
ments of principal and interest in respect of the new securities
authorized to be issued by the Opotiki Borough Council under
the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing
securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First
Schedule to that Order, the said Opotiki Borough Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of three and one-third
pence (3¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable property of the
district, and that such special rate shall be an annually recur-
ing rate during the currency of such securities and be payable
half-yearly on the first day of July and the first day of January
in each and every year until the last maturity date of such
securities, being the first day of July, 1955, or until all such
securities are fully paid off.”

Opotiki, do hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a
resolution passed on the 25th day of June, 1935.
