Land in Auckland Land District for Selection on Optional Tenure.
District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 10th July, 1935.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on optional tenure under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o’clock a.m. on Monday, 29th July, 1935.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Thursday, 1st August, 1935, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.
Otorohanga County.—Wharepapa Survey District.
SECTION 13, Block XV: Area, 367 acres 1 rood. Capital value, £185. Deposit on deferred payments, £10: Half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £5 13s. 9d. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £3 14s.
Weighted with £85 for improvements, consisting of dwelling, clearing and grassing, 30 chains of road boundary-fencing, half-share in 40 chains boundary-fencing, 20 chains of draining. Payable either in cash, or the total amount to remain on mortgage over a period of ten years, payable in the case of a New Zealand discharged soldier by instalments of principal and interest (5 per cent.) combined totalling £5 9s. 1d. per half year, in the case of a civilian by instalments of principal and interest (5½ per cent.) combined totalling £5 11s. 8d. per half year.
A grazing property, situated on the Waipari Road, two miles and a half from Ngaroma Post-office and School and thirty-five miles from Te Awamutu Railway-station by metalled road.
Approximately 10 acres in worn-out pasture, 110 acres bush land felled and grassed but now reverted, 46 acres open country in fern, balance in standing bush. Ragwort requires attention.

Weighted with £95 (payable in cash) for improvements, consisting of clearing and grassing, 5 chains of subdivisional fencing, 36 chains of road boundary-fencing, and half-share in approximately 40 chains of boundary-fencing.
A dairying property, situated on the Whirinaki Road, sixteen miles from the Rotorua Post-office and Railway-station, twenty-one miles from Ngongotaha Dairy Factory and Saleyards. Access by metalled road and formed pumice road. Undulating land of which 75 per cent. is ploughable; watered by a running stream. Approximately 30 acres of worn-out pasture, balance in natural state.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land for Settlements Act, 1925; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o’clock a.m. on Monday, 29th July, 1935.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Thursday, 1st August, 1935, at 10.30 a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.—SETTLEMENT LAND.
Tauranga County.—Otanewainuku Survey District.—Ohauiti Settlement.
SECTION 10s: Area, 142 acres 1 rood 4 perches. Capital value, £740*; half-yearly rent, £18 10s.
Improvements not included in capital value and which must be paid for separately comprise dwelling of four rooms, implement-shed, and cow-shed—total, £186. This sum is payable in cash or by a deposit of £11 and the balance of £175 over a period of twenty years by forty half-yearly instalments of £7 0s. 6d. each.
- Improvements, the value of which is included in capital value of £740, comprise 84 acres cleared and grassed, plantations, and shelter-belts, 70 chains road boundary-fencing, 120 chains subdivisional fencing, and half-share in 100 chains boundary-fencing.
A dairying property, situated on the Ohauiti Road, nine miles from Tauranga Railway-station and seven miles and a half from Tauranga Dairy Factory. Access by partly metalled and partly clay road eight miles from Tauranga. Easy to undulating land broken by steep sidlings into gullies traversed by streams. Altitude 700 ft. to 800 ft. Approximately 42 ⅓ acres of good pasture, 42 acres of fair pasture, 15 acres of waste land, balance in natural state of fern and scrub.

Land in Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.
District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 10th July, 1935.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be offered for sale by public auction for cash or on deferred payments at the Local Lands Office, Kerepeehi, on Wednesday, 21st August, 1935, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
Hauraki Plains County.—Waihou Survey District.
SECTION 72, Block VI: Area, 6 acres 2 roods 20 perches. Upset price, £65.
Weighted with £12 (payable in cash) for improvements, consisting of 7¾ chains of road boundary-fencing and 11½ chains of boundary-fencing.
This section is in close proximity to the Kerepeehi Township and was formerly known as the Kerepeehi Domain (old). The area, which is suitable for grazing purposes, is at present under rushes interspersed with patches of rough feed. In a partly-drained state and can be fully drained at little additional expense.
