THE following notices, received from the Mayor of the City of Wellington, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.
BATHS LOAN OF £27,000.
Proposal to Raise a Special Loan of £27,000 for the Provision of Tepid Swimming-baths and Slipper-baths for the City on a Site between Jervois Quay and Wakefield Street, including the necessary Administration Offices and Accommodation and Heating, Filtration, Laundry, and other Plant and Equipment relative thereto and demolition of Old Buildings.
I HEREBY give notice that the number of votes recorded upon the taking of a poll on the 8th day of May, 1935, for and against the proposal of the Wellington City Council to borrow by way of special loan within the meaning of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the sum of £27,000 for the provision of tepid swimming-baths and slipper-baths for the city on a site between Jervois Quay and Wakefield Street, including the necessary administration offices and accommodation and heating, filtration, laundry, and other plant and equipment relative thereto and demolition of old buildings was as follows:—

LIBRARY LOAN OF £60,000.
Proposal to Raise a Special Loan of £60,000 for erecting a Modern Central Library on Land available for the Purpose (between Harris Street and Mercer Street) to replace the Existing Library Building.
I HEREBY give notice that the number of votes recorded upon the taking of a poll on the 8th day of May, 1935, for and against the proposal of the Wellington City Council to borrow by way of special loan within the meaning of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the sum of £60,000 for erecting a modern Central Library on land available for the purpose (between Harris Street and Mercer Street) to replace the existing library building was as follows:—

Proposal to Raise a Special Loan of £100,000 for the Provision of Stormwater Relief Culvert, Stormwater Drainage, and for the acquisition of Land, Earthworks, Widening, Construction, and other Works in respect of certain Streets in the City of Wellington.
I HEREBY give notice that the number of votes recorded upon the taking of a poll on the 8th day of May, 1935, for and against the proposal of the Wellington City Council to borrow by way of special loan within the meaning of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the sum of £100,000 for the provision of stormwater relief culvert, stormwater drainage, and for the acquisition of land, earthworks, widening, construction, and other works in respect of certain streets in the City of Wellington was as follows:—

Classification of Roads in Wairoa County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, James Alexander Young, Acting Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Wairoa County Council’s proposed classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in Wairoa County.
SCHEDULE.
WAIROA COUNTY.
ROADS classified in Class Three: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 10 tons:—
Ruakituri Valley Main Highway No. 338.
Nuhaka–Waikokopu Main Highway No. 523.

Classification of Streets in Mosgiel Borough.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, James Alexander Young, Acting Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Mosgiel Borough Council’s proposed classification of the streets described in the Schedule hereto and situated in Mosgiel Borough.
SCHEDULE.
MOSGIEL BOROUGH.
STREETS classified in Class Three: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 10 tons:—
Mosgiel–Middlemarch–Dunback Main Highway No. 126 (all that portion within Mosgiel Borough).
