CERTIFICATE OF ANALYSIS OF STOCK-REMEDY, NOT BEING A VACCINE, SERUM, OR OTHER BIOLOGICAL PRODUCT.

I, the undersigned, an Analyst under the Stock-remedies Act, 1934, do hereby certify that on the __ day of __, 19____, there was delivered to me personally by (or I received by registered post from) [Insert name and address of the Inspector from whom the sample was received] a sample of [State name of stock-remedy] for analysis in a [State the nature of the package in which the sample was enclosed, the particulars set out on the label on the package, and a description of the impress of the seal], and that I have analysed the same and that the result of my analysis is as follows: [Analysis and statement of opinion as to whether any discrepancy found in the sample on comparison pursuant to section 13 (3) of the said Act would be materially to the prejudice of a purchaser].

The Stock-remedies Registration Board (Allowances) Regulations, 1935.—(Notice No. Ag. 3290.)

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 28th day of May, 1935.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE E. A. RANSOM PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

PURSUANT to the Stock-remedies Act, 1934, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby make the following regulations.

R E G U L A T I O N S.

  1. PRELIMINARY.

(1) These regulations may be cited as the Stock-remedies Registration Board (Allowances) Regulations, 1935.

(2) In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,—

“Board” means the Stock-remedies Registration Board established under the Stock-remedies Act, 1934.

(3) These regulations shall come into force on the date of the publication thereof in the Gazette.

  1. ALLOWANCES PAYABLE TO MEMBERS OF THE BOARD.

(1) In this regulation the phrase “engaged upon the business of the Board” includes travelling to or from a meeting of the Board and travelling (with the authority of the Board) on the business of the Board and engaged at a meeting of the Board and otherwise (with the authority of the Board) on the business of the Board.

(2) There shall be paid to each member of the Board, not being a person employed in the Public Service or holding a permanent appointment of profit under the Crown, for each day or part of a day on which he is engaged upon the business of the Board a fee of £1 15s. 9d.

(3) No fee shall be paid in respect of any occasion in respect of which a fee or personal allowance or locomotion-expenses or travelling-allowance or expenses of or allowance for board and lodging respectively have been received or will be received by the member from any other person, body corporate, or public or administrative body :

Provided that nothing contained in this clause shall prevent the Treasury from making or receiving payments to or from any such person or body by way of apportionment of fees, expenses, or allowance payable to any member by reason of his being both engaged upon the business of the Board and also engaged upon the business of such person or body.

(4) No claim of any member for fees shall be recognized unless such claim sets out the days and parts of a day claimed for and contains full particulars of dates, places, amounts, and nature of each item, and is accompanied by the certificate of the member stating that on the days and parts of a day claimed for he was engaged upon the business of the Board as particularly set out in the claim and that the claim is correct in all particulars, and further stating and undertaking that the member has not already been paid any sum and will not claim or accept any sum by or from any other person, body corporate, or public or administrative body by way of fee or personal allowance or locomotion-expenses or travelling-allowance or expenses of or allowance for board and lodging respectively in respect of any occasion in respect of which the claim is made.

Appointment as Chairman, Government Railways Appeal Board

GALWAY, Governor-General.

PURSUANT to section nine of the Government Railways Amendment Act, 1927, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, hereby appoint as a member and as Chairman of the Government Railways Appeal Board, John George Lewis Hewitt, of Marton, Stipendiary Magistrate, to hold office for a term of two years from and including the twentieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 22nd day of May, 1935.
