RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Morrinsville Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934 (No. 1).

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Morrinsville Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934 (No. 1), the Morrinsville Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instalment of principal and interest in respect of the new securities authorized to be issued by the Morrinsville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, the said Morrinsville Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and five-eighths pence (1⅝d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Morrinsville, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the 30th day of March in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the 30th day of March, 1965, or until all such securities are fully paid off.”

DUNEDIN DRAINAGE AND SEWERAGE BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
——

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Amendment Act, 1921, the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board hereby resolves as follows:—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £150,000 authorized to be raised by the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board under the above-mentioned Act, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence (2d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-nine years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board on the 24th day of April, 1935.

JOHNSONVILLE TOWN BOARD.

CONVERSION OF LOANS.
——

WHEREAS the Johnsonville Town Board did at a special meeting held on Friday, the 12th day of April, 1935, resolve—

“ That pursuant to the provisions and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 9 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Johnsonville Town Board Loans Conversion Order, 1935, the Johnsonville Town Board hereby resolves to issue new securities in conversion of the existing securities as specified by the Order in Council dated the 25th day of March, 1935, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 22, on the 29th day of March, 1935.”

And did appoint Monday, the 29th day of April, 1935, as the date for the meeting of the said Board to confirm the said resolution: And whereas notice of the said meeting and its purpose has been duly advertised in accordance with the said section 9 in the Evening Post newspaper on the 13th day of April, 1935, and in the Dominion newspaper on the 15th day of April, 1935, this Board does now resolve that the said resolution of the 12th day of April, 1935, be hereby confirmed.
