SCHEDULE.

THE north-western side of all that portion of street, situated in the Otago Land District, Borough of Oamaru, known as Clyde Street, fronting parts Allotments 32 and 33, D.P. 76. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 89251, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The Eastern Side of Portion of Bary Street, in the County of Marlborough, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of April, 1935.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Marlborough County Council on the eleventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, viz:—
"The Marlborough County Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the County of Marlborough, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of street known as Bary Street adjoining land being Lots 46 and 47 of part Section 7, District of Omaka, and being the land comprised in Certificate of Title entered in Register-book Volume 28, folio 294";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern side of the portion of Bary Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.

SCHEDULE.

THE eastern side of all that portion of road, situated in the Marlborough Land District, County of Marlborough, known as Bary Street, fronting Sections 46 and 47 of part Section 7, District of Omaka. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 89090, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured brown.

The Eastern Side generally of Portion of Railway Terrace, in the Borough of Newmarket, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

of the following resolution passed by the Newmarket Borough Council on the fourteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, viz:—
"That the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of road known as Railway Terrace, adjoining part of Allotment 22, Section 4, Suburbs of Auckland";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern side generally of the portion of Railway Terrace (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of twenty-five feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

THE eastern side generally of all that portion of street, situated in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Newmarket, known as Railway Terrace, fronting part Allotment 22 of Section 4 of the Suburbs of Auckland. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 89201, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve in the Lower Shotover Public Hall Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of April, 1935.
Present:
His Excellency The Administrator of the Government In Council.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a site for a public hall: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in a special Board as hereinafter provided:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, for the period of five years from the date hereof (unless previously amended or revoked under the said Act), in the undermentioned persons, namely:—
John Stewart Gray,
Thomas Meldrum Houston, and
Kenneth Alexander Brown,
who are hereby constituted for that purpose a special Board by the name of the Lower Shotover Public Hall Board (hereinafter referred to as "the Board"), with the powers and subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say,

  1. The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on the third Monday in each month at eight o'clock p.m., at the Lower Shotover Public Hall, or at such other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Monday, the fifteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five.
  2. The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting and thereafter at the annual meeting hereinafter mentioned, elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of his successor.
  3. Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman, provided that two days' notice of any such meeting is given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.
  4. If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the time appointed for holding the same, the members present shall choose one of their number to be chairman of such meeting.
  5. If by resignation, death, incapacity, or otherwise the seat of any member shall be or become vacant, or if any member absents himself without reasonable cause from three consecutive meetings of the Board, the Governor-General shall have power to appoint any other person to be a member of the Board in his stead.
