NOTICE is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeited by resolutions of the Land Boards of the respective land districts, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

Lands in Taranaki Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

NOTICE is hereby given that the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto will be offered by public auction for sale for cash at the Courthouse, Patea, on Friday, the 10th May, 1935, at 2 o’clock p.m. under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

TOWN LAND.

Patea County.—Town of Manutahi.

SUBDIVISIONS 1 and 2 of Section 9: Area, 2 roods. Upset price, £35.

This area, which is situated on Taumaka Road, is all in grass. A very old cottage and a shed are erected thereon, and have a value for firewood purposes only.

FIRST-CLASS LAND.

Patea County.—Whenuakura District.

Section 141: Area, 1 acre 0 roods 24·5 perches. Upset price, £25.

This section comprises a strip of land situated between the Waioturi Block and the Wellington–New Plymouth Railway line. About one-third of the area is gully, the remainder being good grazing land.

Terms of Sale.—Cash on the fall of the hammer or one-fifth of the purchase money may be paid on the fall of the hammer and the balance with Crown grant fee (£1) paid within thirty days thereafter.
