I, ROBERT ALFRED GORDON, Chairman of the Hunter-ville Town Board, do hereby certify that pursuant to the provisions of subsection (2) of section 9 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, a resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Hunterville Town Board held on the 24th day of January, 1935, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting held on the 11th day of February, 1935, providing for the issue under Part II of that Act of new securities in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set forth in the First Schedule to the Hunterville Town Board Loans Conversion Order, 1934, as published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 14th December, 1934.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
———

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the Eltham Borough Council Loans Conversion Order (No. 1), 1934, the Eltham Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“ That, for the purpose of providing half-yearly instalments of principal and interest in respect of the new securities authorized to be issued by the Eltham Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, the Eltham Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny (1d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) on all rateable property in the Borough of Eltham, and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable half-yearly on the first day of June and the first day of December in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the first day of December, 1954, or until all such securities are fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Ihuraua Drainage Scheme.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Eketauna County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of three hundred and eighteen pounds (£318) authorized to be raised by the Eketauna County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of carrying out the Ihuraua Drainage Scheme, the said Eketauna County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny (1d.) in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all the rateable property in the Ihuraua Special-rating Area, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
