NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Raglan County Council proposed to execute certain public works—to wit, the formation of a public road—for which purpose the following lands require to be taken by the Raglan County Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, sections 22 and 23, that is to say :—

(a) All that parcel of land containing 1 acre 0 roods 18·8 perches, more or less, being part of Allotment 30, Block VIII, Parish of Onewhero.

(b) All that parcel of land containing 2 roods 27 perches, more or less, being Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 6604, and being part of Allotment 30A 2 also of Block VIII, Parish of Onewhero.

(c) All that parcel of land containing 1 acre 0 roods 15 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 6604, being part of Allotment 30A 2, Block VIII, Parish of Onewhero, and Block V, Maramarua Survey District.

A plan of the lands required to be taken as aforesaid is open for inspection at the offices of the Raglan County Council at Ngaruawahia.

All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands and to send such in writing to the Clerk of the Raglan County Council within forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice.

WAIPUKURAU BOROUGH COUNCIL.

Waipukurau Borough Council Loans Conversion.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waipukurau Borough Council, at a special meeting held on the 17th day of December, 1934, passed two separate resolutions the purports of which were to issue new securities in conversion of the loans as set out in the First Schedule of the Waipukurau Borough Council’s Loan Conversion Orders Numbers 1 and 2, as published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 93 of the 14th December (Supplement), at pages 4222 to 4228 inclusive for Order No. 1, and from pages 4229 to 4232 inclusive for Order No. 2, and such resolutions were duly confirmed at a meeting held on the 21st day of January, 1935.
