TE AWAMUTU BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the Te Awamutu Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934 (No. 2), the Te Awamutu Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instalments of principal and interest in respect of the new securities authorized to be issued by the Te Awamutu Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, and also the instalments of principal and interest in respect of the unconverted securities issued in respect of such loans, the said Te Awamutu Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fourpence and four-tenths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Te Awamutu, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the 31st day of January in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the 31st day of January, 1960, or until all such securities are fully paid off.”

MOSGIEL BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Mosgiel Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the instalments of principal and interest and other charges on a loan of £16,000 authorized to be raised by the Mosgiel Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose (together with accrued sinking funds) of repaying loans of £14,000 and £4,000 heretofore raised by the said Council, the said Mosgiel Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence and five-eighths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Mosgiel, comprising the whole of the Borough of Mosgiel, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

FOLDERS LIMITED.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of FOLDERS LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above-named company, held at the registered office, Dilworth Buildings, Auckland, on Saturday, the 22nd day of December, 1934, the following resolution was passed :—

“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. E. D. WILKINSON, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

All persons or companies having claims against the above-named company are required to send full particulars thereof to the undersigned on or before the thirty-first day of January, 1935, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above-named company held at the registered office, Dilworth Buildings, Auckland, on Saturday, the 22nd day of December, 1934, the following resolution was passed :—

“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. E. D. WILKINSON, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of HUTCHESON, WILSON, AND COMPANY, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court dated the 14th day of December, 1934, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £24,000 to £20,000, and the minute (approved by the Court) showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above statute, were registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 20th day of December, 1934 : And further take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following :—

“ That the capital of Hutcheson, Wilson, and Company, Limited, henceforth is £20,000, divided into 20,000 shares of £1 each. At the date of the registration of this minute the sum of £1 has been and is deemed to be paid up on each of the said shares.”

“ That the company, having ceased to carry on business, do go into voluntary liquidation, and that CHARLES RICHARD LAMB be appointed liquidator.”

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the offices of Messrs. Wilberforce and Harden, Public Accountants, in the Huddart Parker Building in Post-office Square, Wellington City, on Wednesday, the 30th day of January, 1935, at 12 noon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidator shall be disposed of.
