HELENSVILLE TOWN BOARD.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL RATE.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Helensville Town Board held in the Town Board Office, Commercial Road, Helensville, on Monday, 17th December, 1934, the following resolution was passed :—

“That, in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and all other authorities it thereunto enabling, the Helensville Town Board hereby resolves as follows: That for the purpose of providing and paying the interest and other charges on a loan of £300 authorized to be raised by the Helensville Town Board under the above-mentioned Act for completion of new concrete storage dam in the Town Board’s catchment-area, the said Helensville Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fourteenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property of the Helensville Town District comprising the whole of Helensville Town District, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years or until the loan is fully paid off, and be payable during the said term on such day or days in each annual rating period as general rates shall from time to time be made payable.”

ALEXANDRA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Alexandra Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934, the Alexandra Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Alexandra Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, the said Alexandra Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of sevenpence halfpenny (7½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Alexandra, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the 30th day of June in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the 1st day of December, 1961, or until such securities are fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Alexandra Borough Council held on Tuesday, the 4th day of December, 1934, at 8 p.m.
