SPRINGS-ELLESMERE ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the Springs-Ellesmere Electric-power Board Loans Conversion Order, 1934, the Springs-Ellesmere Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Springs-Ellesmere Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act and Order whether in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order or for the purpose of providing for cash premium payments, and also the interest, sinking fund, and other charges and instalments of principal and interest in respect of the unconverted securities issued in respect of such loans, the said Springs-Ellesmere Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-tenths of one penny (³⁄₁₀d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the district, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the first days of December in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the first day of December, 1962, or until all such securities are fully paid off.”

In the matter of THE AKAROA CO-OPERATIVE BUTTER-FACTORY COMPANY, LIMITED, and in the matter of the Companies Act, 1933.
NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand dated the twenty-eighth day of November, 1934, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £5,000 to £3,625, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above statute were registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 14th day of December, 1934.

NOTICE is hereby given that the above company has to-day passed an effective resolution for winding up as follows:—
“The company being unable by reason of its liabilities to continue and it being advisable that the company be wound up it is hereby resolved that the company be wound up, and that EDWIN HUBERT METGE, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.”
A meeting of creditors of the said company to confirm such resolution will be held at the office of Mr. E. H. Metge, Yorkshire House, Shortland Street, Auckland, on Thursday, the 27th day of December, 1934, at 10 a.m.

“That the company be wound up voluntarily and forthwith go into voluntary liquidation, and that JAMES BROOM SALTER, of Wellington, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding up.”

Taumarunui Hospital Boards Loans Conversion Order, 1934.
I, ARCHIBALD HENRY BARKER, Chairman of the Taumarunui Hospital Board, do hereby certify that pursuant to the provisions of subsection (2) of section 9 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, a resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Taumarunui Hospital Board held on the 28th day of November, 1934, and confirmed on the 14th day of December, 1934, providing for the issue under part II of that Act of new securities in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set forth in the First Schedule to the Taumarunui Hospital Boards Loans Conversion Order, 1934, as published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 71 of the 20th September, 1934, page 2964.
