TAUMARUNUI BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest
Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the
Taumarunui Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934 (No. 3),
the Taumarunui Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking
fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to
be issued by the Taumarunui Borough Council under the
above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing
securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First
Schedule to that Order, and also the interest, sinking fund,
and other charges on the unconverted securities issued in
respect of such loans, the said Taumarunui Borough Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence and
three-farthings (3¾d.) in the pound upon the rateable value
(on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
of the district, and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every
year until the last maturity date of such securities, being
the 1st day of May, 1962, or until all such securities are fully
paid off.”

We, the undersigned, hereby certify that the above is a
true copy and extract from the minutes of the proceedings of
the Taumarunui Borough Council of the 20th day of November,
1934.

The common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses
of the Borough of Taumarunui was hereto affixed this 20th
day of November, 1934, in the presence of—

RENOWN COLLIERIES, LIMITED.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the
matter of RENOWN COLLIERIES, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme
Court of New Zealand made at Auckland on the 22nd
day of November, 1934, confirming the reduction of the
capital of the above-mentioned company from £150,000 to
£102,000, and the minute (approved by the Court) showing
with respect to the capital of the company as altered the
several particulars required by the said Act, were registered
with the Registrar of Companies at Auckland on the 29th
day of November, 1934 : And notice is hereby further given
that the said minute is in the words and figures following :—

“ The capital of the company is £102,000 divided into
120,000 ordinary shares of 12s. each and 240,000 preference
shares of 2s. 6d. each, all fully paid (instead of as originally
£150,000 divided into 120,000 ordinary shares of £1 each and
240,000 preference shares of 2s. 6d. each, all fully paid).”

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the
matter of the GABRIELS GULLY SLUICING COMPANY,
LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of shareholders
of the above-named company held at the registered
office of the company, Ross Place, Lawrence, on Monday, the
26th day of November, 1934, the following special resolution
was passed :—

“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that
ALEXANDER McLEAN, of Lawrence, Accountant, be and is
hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

matter of TARANAKI DAIRYMEN’S FINANCE CO., LTD.
(in Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named company
by resolution passed on the 24th November, 1934, went
into voluntary liquidation and appointed the undersigned as
liquidator. All persons, firms, or corporations having any
claims against the above company are hereby required on or
before the 20th December, 1934, to lodge proof of same.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL RESOLUTION.

I HEREBY certify that the following resolution was, in
accordance with law, duly passed at a special meeting
of the Waitara Borough Council held on the 14th day of
November, 1934, and confirmed at a special meeting of the
Council held on the 28th day of November, 1934 :—

That, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in
it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the
Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Local authorities Interest
Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and by the
Waitara Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934, the Waitara
Borough Council hereby resolves to issue new securities in
conversion of the existing securities in respect of—

Such new securities to be issued in accordance with the
terms and stipulations and provisions contained in the said
Waitara Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934, dated the
24th day of September, 1934, and published in the New
Zealand Gazette No. 73 of 28th September, 1934, at page 3061.
