TAIHAPE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the Taihape Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934 (No. 4), the Taihape Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the instalments of interest and principal and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Taihape Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, the Taihape Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence and one-sixteenth of a penny (3¹⁄₁₆d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value—£163,932) of all rateable property in the Taihape Borough, and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable annually on the 1st day of August in each and every year until the maturity date of the last of such securities, being the 23rd day of November, 1959, or until all such securities are fully paid off.”
