REGULATIONS.

  1. THE occupier of every holding shall upon request, and within such time or times as he may be required by the Statistician so to do, furnish annually to the Statistician, or to any officer appointed by him in writing, the particulars specified in the form set out in the Schedule hereto in accordance with the instructions on or accompanying the form, and shall sign the form certifying to the correctness of the particulars entered therein, and transmit it by post or otherwise to the Statistician or to the officer appointed by him.

  2. In these regulations—

“Occupier” includes the person for the time being in charge of a holding whether in the capacity of owner, lessee, manager, caretaker, share milker, or in any other capacity; and

“Holding” includes any area of one acre or over in extent which is situated outside the boundaries of a duly constituted borough, but excludes areas used exclusively for residential, ornamental, or pleasure purposes, unless any horses, cattle, sheep, or pigs are depastured thereon.

SCHEDULE.

I.—DESCRIPTION OF LAND OCCUPIED ON 31ST JANUARY,

(1) Freehold owned and occupied by you: acres.
(2) Rented or leasehold land occupied by you (including lease in perpetuity): acres.

(NOTE.—Persons occupying holdings as managers, caretakers, or share-workers should show tenure figures applicable to their principals.)
(4) State kind of farming carried on or purpose for which holding is used. If holding is unused, write “unused.”
