THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the Feilding Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934 (No. 2), the Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Feilding Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, and also the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the unconverted securities issued in respect of such loans, the said Feilding Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fifteen-sixteenths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the district, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the second day of September, 1959, or until such securities are fully paid off.”

The above resolutions were duly passed at a meeting of the Feilding Borough Council held on the 23rd day of July, 1934.

PATEA FARMERS’ CO-OPERATIVE FREEZING COMPANY, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a meeting of the creditors of the Patea Farmers’ Co-operative Freezing Co., Ltd., will be held at the company’s offices, Portland Quay, Patea, on Tuesday, the 28th day of August, 1934, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purposes provided for in the said section.

MARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

I HEREBY declare that the undermentioned resolution in respect of a loan to be converted as detailed therein was passed by the Marton Borough Council at a special meeting held on the 24th July, 1934, and was confirmed at a special meeting of the Marton Borough Council held on 13th August, 1934. The resolution was as follows:—

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the company held on the 30th day of July, 1934, it was resolved that the company go into voluntary liquidation, and that PERCY STRATTON BOYES, of Nelson, Public Accountant, be appointed liquidator. And further notice is hereby given that all claims against the above company must be rendered to the undersigned not later than the 31st August next, otherwise they may be precluded from any distribution of assets that may be made.
