Now, I, Fred Purnell, Chairman of the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board, do hereby certify as follows:—
(1) That having received the precedent consent of the Governor-General by Order in Council to the conversion of the loans mentioned in the Schedule hereto, the Board at a special meeting held at the Board’s offices, St. Hill Street, Wanganui, on 13th July, 1934, at 11.30 a.m., passed a resolution authorizing the conversion of the said loans.
(2) That due notice of such special meeting was properly given.
(3) That at the ordinary monthly meeting of the Board held at the Board’s offices, Wanganui, on 9th August, 1934, at 10.30 a.m., the resolution passed at the special meeting was duly confirmed.
(4) That public notice of the intention to confirm this resolution at the said meeting was duly and properly given by advertisement in the Wanganui Chronicle on the twenty-third and thirtieth days of July, 1934.

I, GEORGE ALEXANDER MONK, Chairman of the Horowhenua County Council, do hereby certify that pursuant to the provisions of subsection (2) of section 9 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, a resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Horowhenua County Council held on the 14th day of July, 1934, and confirmed on the 11th day of August, 1934, providing for the issue under Part II of that Act of new securities issued in respect of the loans set forth in the First Schedule to the Horowhenua County Loans Conversion Order, 1934, as published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 22nd June, 1934, No. 47, page 1983.

CERTIFICATE re SPECIAL RESOLUTIONS AUTHORIZING CONVERSION OF LOANS.
I, JOSEPH GIBBS, Mayor of the Borough of Inglewood, do hereby certify that three (3) special resolutions authorizing the issue of new securities in conversion of existing securities in exercise of the powers conferred by the Inglewood Borough Loans Conversion Orders, 1934 (Nos. 1, 2, and 3), were duly passed at a special meeting of the Inglewood Borough Council held on the 20th day of July, 1934, and that the said three special resolutions were confirmed at a special meeting of the Council held on the 6th day of August, 1934, in compliance with the provisions of subsection (2) of section 9 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33.

Notice is hereby given to the holders of debentures or other securities issued by the Inglewood Borough Council in respect of the above-mentioned loans that it is intended to convert all such debentures or other securities (except those in respect of which dissent is duly signified) into new debentures having new maturity dates and bearing interest at 4½ per cent. per annum.
The conversion will take effect from the 30th day of September, 1934.
Application for conversion must be made in writing and be accompanied by the securities to which it relates.
Dissent from the conversion of any existing debentures or other securities may be signified by the holder by notice in writing delivered to the Town Clerk, Council Chambers, Inglewood, on or before the 14th day of October, 1934.
If notice of dissent from the conversion of any debentures or other securities is not received by that date the securities will be converted.
The rate of interest on any debentures or other securities in respect of which dissent is signified as aforesaid will, by virtue of section 18 of the above-mentioned Act, be reduced to two-thirds of the original rate as from the 30th day of September, 1934.
Further particulars as to the new debentures and the conversion generally may be obtained from the Town Clerk, Council Chambers, Inglewood.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned under the name “Sister Janet Doull” has been dissolved as from this date. The business will in future be carried on by the said Janet Doull.
