MATAMATA TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Matamata Town Board Loans Conversion Order, 1934, the Matamata Town Board hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing interest and sinking fund and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Matamata Town Board under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, and also the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the unconverted securities issued in respect of such loans, the said Matamata Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence (2d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the district, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the first day of July, 1962, or until such securities are fully paid off.”

MURRAY, McDERMOTT, LIMITED.
IN LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of MURRAY, McDERMOTT, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that on the ninth day of July, 1934, the following resolution was passed by the company by entry in its minute-book signed by all shareholders :—
“ The company being unable by reason of its liabilities to continue and it being advisable that the company be wound up, it is hereby resolved that the company be wound up, and that EDWIN HUBERT METGE, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”
Creditors of the above company are requested to send full particulars of their claims to the undersigned at his office, Yorkshire House, Shortland Street, Auckland, on or before the thirtieth day of July, 1934.

OPUNAKE ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
NOTICE OF SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Opunake Electric-power Board Loans Conversion Order, 1934, the Opunake Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Opunake Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, and also the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the unconverted securities issued in respect of such loans, the said Opunake Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-tenths (7/10ths) of a penny in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the district, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the 31st day of May in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the 31st day of May, 1959, or until all such securities are fully paid off.”

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY.
I, JOHN MORRISON, Assistant Registrar of Companies, hereby give notice that by a resolution passed by The Sunshine Flour-milling Company, Limited, on the 22nd day of May, 1934, in the manner required by section 32 of the Companies Act, 1933, the name of the company was, with the approval of the Registrar, changed to The Model Flour-milling Company, Limited, and that such new name has been entered on the Register in pursuance of section 32 (5) of the said Act.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act, 1924, and its amendments, the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf to execute a certain work—namely, for street purposes at the corner of Clarence Street and Butt Street in the City of Wellington, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Public Office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Town Hall, Cuba Street in the said City, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land should if they have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.
SCHEDULE.
All that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington, containing eighteen-hundredths of a perch, being portion of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan Number 3268, part Section 15, Ohio District; coloured red on the plan above mentioned.
NOTE.—This notice is not an admission that the above land is not already street.
