Additional Land near Utiku taken for the Purposes of the North Island Main Trunk Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the North Island Main Trunk Railway to take further land near Utiku in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 rood 2 perches.
Being closed road adjoining Awarua 4c No. 6 Block, Block VI, Hautapu Survey District, Rangitikei County. (S.O. 107/61.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 3024, deposited in the office of the Government Railways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of July, 1934.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSER-VATION REGION.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 710 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Mangauika A 1 Block and formerly known as part of Mangauika lB 2 Section 2B, situated in Blocks II, III, VI, and VII, Pirongia Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east by Section 6, Block III aforesaid (scenic reserve, Gazette, 1924, page 2823); towards the east by a provisional State forest (387 acres—Gazette, 1920, page 2116); towards the south-west by Sections 3A and 7, Block VII aforesaid, and a provisional State forest (1,250 acres—Gazette, 1920, page 2116); and towards the north-west by a provisional State forest (400 acres—Gazette, 1920, page 2116); and a State forest (2,600 acres—Gazette, 1900, page 6). As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 36/2, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of July, 1934.
