Meat-export Restriction Order, 1934.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of
July, 1934.
Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by section forty-seven of the Customs
Act, 1913, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him
in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, being of opinion that the prohibition
of the exportation of the goods hereinafter referred to is
necessary in the public interest, and acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby make the following Order.

REGULATIONS.
I. PRELIMINARY.
(1) THIS Order may be cited as the Meat-export Restriction
Order, 1934.
(2) This Order shall come into force on the 12th day of
July, 1934.
(3) The prohibition contained in this Order shall apply
to goods placed on board an exporting ship on or after
the date of the coming into force hereof.

II. PROHIBITION OF EXPORTING WITHOUT LICENSE.
The exportation is hereby prohibited from New Zealand to
the United Kingdom of all goods in the Schedule hereto
without the consent in writing of the Minister of Agriculture
acting upon the advice of the New Zealand Meat-producers'
Board.
