DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between PETER MATHESON and DANIEL MOIR, THE YOUNGER, carrying on business as Grocers and Provision Merchants in Dunedin under the style or firm of “Matheson and Moir” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the thirtieth day of June, 1934, and that the business of the partnership will be continued by the said Daniel Moir, the Younger, on his own account under the same style of “Matheson and Moir.”

Dannevirke Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934.

I, MARCUS DAVID SMITH, Mayor of the Borough of Dannevirke, do hereby certify that pursuant to the provisions of subsection (2) of section 9 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, resolutions were duly passed at a special meeting of the Dannevirke Borough Council held on the 14th day of June, 1934, and confirmed on the 29th day of June, 1934, providing for the issue under Part II of that Act of new securities in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set forth in the First Schedule to the Dannevirke Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934 (No. 1), and in the First Schedule to the Dannevirke Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934 (No. 2), as published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 40, of the 31st day of May, 1934, pages 1582 and 1587 respectively.

DANNEVIRKE BOROUGH COUNCIL.

CONVERSION under the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the Dannevirke Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934 (No. 1), of debentures or other securities issued in respect of the following loans:—

Loans to be converted.

Notice is hereby given to the holders of debentures or other securities issued by the Dannevirke Borough Council in respect of the above-mentioned loans that it is intended to convert all such debentures or other securities (except those in respect of which dissent is duly signified) into new debentures having new maturity dates and bearing interest at 4½ per cent. per annum.

The conversion will take effect from the 30th day of September, 1934.

Application for conversion must be made in writing and be accompanied by the securities to which it relates.

Dissent from the conversion of any existing debentures or other securities may be signified by the holder by notice in writing delivered to the Town Clerk, Dannevirke, on or before the 15th day of September, 1934.

If notice of dissent from the conversion of any debentures or other securities is not received by that date the securities will be converted.

The rate of interest on any debentures or other securities in respect of which dissent is signified as aforesaid will, by virtue of section 18 of the above-mentioned Act, be reduced to two-thirds of the original rate as from the 30th day of September, 1934.

Further particulars as to the new debentures and the conversion generally may be obtained from the Town Clerk, Dannevirke.
