A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
taken for the purposes of a Native school; and I do also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the sixteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-four.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 4 acres 0 roods
7·5 perches.
Being portion of Motatau 1c No. 7g Block.
Situated in Block VI, Motatau Survey District (Auckland
R.D.). (S.O. 27575.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 86771,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of
June, 1934.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for the Purposes
of an Access Way off Everton Terrace, in the City of
Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much
of the Proclamation dated the seventh day of March, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and published in
the New Zealand Gazette No. 22 of the fifteenth day of the same
month, taking land for the purposes of an access way off
Everton Terrace, in the City of Wellington, as affects that
portion of the subsoil of the land described in the Schedule
hereto which was taken for the Kelburne and Karori Tram-
way by Proclamation dated the eighteenth day of December,
one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, and published
in New Zealand Gazette No. 107 of the nineteenth day of the
same month, and described in the Sixth Schedule thereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land affected : 1·96 perches.
Being part Lot 26, D.P. 6205, and being part Town Belt
(part Section 3, Hospital Reserve), Town of Wellington.
Situated in the City of Wellington. (S.O. 2909.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 87476,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of July,
1934.

July, 1934.

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Paul Doig,
Daniel Lynch,
Watt George Copland,
Hugh Reeve Wilkinson,
Felix McGuigan,
Roy Doig, and
Joseph Burrowes
to be the Chertsey Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint
Thursday, the ninth day of August, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-four, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and
the Chertsey School as the place where, the first meeting of
the Board shall be held.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £1,080
by the Springs County Council and prescribing the Conditions
thereof.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of
July, 1934.
Present :
His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Springs County Council (hereinafter
called “ the said local authority ”) proposes, pursuant
to the provisions of section three of the Main Highways
Amendment Act, 1928, to borrow the sum of one thousand
and eighty pounds (£1,080) by a loan to be known as “ Main
Highways Loan, 1934 ” (hereinafter called “ the said loan ”),
for the purpose of paying its proportion of the cost of paving
the Rolleston–Rakaia Section of the Christchurch–Dunedin
Main Highway :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government
Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine
of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and
authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent
to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan up
to the amount of one thousand and eighty pounds (£1,080),
and in giving such consent doth hereby determine as follows :—
(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof
may be raised shall be seven (7) years.
(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the
said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce
to the lender or lenders a rate exceeding four pounds (£4) per
centum per annum.
(3) The said loan together with interest thereon shall be
repaid by equal annual or half-yearly instalments extending
over the term as determined in (1) above.
