PRIVATE BILL.
In the matter of a Private Bill to be intituled The Pyne, Gould, Guinness, Limited, Trust Act, 1934.
NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to the Standing Orders relating to Private Bills that it is intended to present a petition to the General Assembly of New Zealand at the session commencing on the 28th day of June, 1934, praying for leave to bring in a Private Bill with the object of enabling Pyne, Gould, Guinness, Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1908, having its registered office in Cashel Street, in the City of Christchurch, to carry out more effectively and usefully the purposes and objects authorized by its Memorandum of Association and in particular to accept the office of executor and to apply for and obtain probate of the will of any deceased person nominating the company as executor, and to act as executor, administrator, and trustee under any such will, and also to act as guardian, committee, receiver, or manager of estates, and generally to act in any fiduciary capacity as trustee or agent or attorney on behalf of any other person or corporation.
Printed copies of the Bill will be deposited at the Private Bill Office, Parliament Buildings, Wellington, on or before the 10th day of July, 1934.

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF NAME.
I, ALBERT JAMES KARL MENZIES, of Ohakune, Civil Servant, heretofore called and known by the name of ALBERT JAMES KARL HADECKE, hereby give notice that on the 30th day of April, 1934, I renounced and abandoned the use of my said surname of Hadecke and assumed in lieu thereof the surname of Menzies, and further that such change of name is evidenced by a deed dated the 30th day of April, 1934, executed by me and attested and filed in the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Wanganui Judicial District, Wanganui Registry, on the 21st day of May, 1934.

BOROUGH OF LOWER HUTT.
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.
Conversion Loan, 1934.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the Lower Hutt Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934, the Lower Hutt Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Lower Hutt Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, and also the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the unconverted securities issued in respect of such loans, the said Lower Hutt Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1⁴³⁴⁄₀₀₀ of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property of the district, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the 1st day of March, 1962, or until all such securities are fully paid off.”
We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of the resolution appearing in the minute-book of the Lower Hutt Borough Council, and passed at a meeting of the said Council held on the 12th day of March, 1934.

BOROUGH OF LOWER HUTT.
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.
£3,500 Grandstand Loan, 1934.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Lower Hutt Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and principal and other charges on a loan of £3,500 authorized to be raised by the Lower Hutt Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a grandstand in the Lower Hutt Recreation-ground as set out in the proposal to raise the said loan, the said Lower Hutt Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 33/700ths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Lower Hutt, comprising the whole of the Borough of Lower Hutt, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of the resolution appearing in the minute-book of the Lower Hutt Borough Council, and passed at a meeting of the said Council held on the 23rd day of April, 1934.

McKEAGUE AND COMPANY, LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of McKEAGUE AND COMPANY, LIMITED, a company incorporated under the above Act.
NOTICE is hereby given that by a special resolution of shareholders on 1st April, 1934, the following resolution was passed :—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that DANIEL WRAY McKEAGUE be appointed Liquidator of the company.”

NOTICE is hereby given of the following extraordinary resolution carried at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on Saturday, 19th May, 1934 :—
“ That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that the company be wound up, and that FRITZ STANLEY GOULDING, of Dargaville, Solicitor, be appointed Liquidator of the company.”
