Lands temporarily reserved in the North Auckland, Auckland, and Otago Land Districts.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, from time to time, set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve the lands in the North Auckland, Auckland, and Otago Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 3 perches, more or less, being Section 15, Block X, Tutamoe Survey District. (For an addition to a public school-site, Aomarama.)

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 20 acres 2 roods 28·3 perches, more or less, being part Section 26A, Suburbs of Rotorua, and part Section 5, Block I, Tarawera Survey District, uplifted from State Forest Reservation by Gazette, 1933, page 346.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 2/378A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red (Auckland plan S.O. 26584). (For a cemetery.)

Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 33 perches, more or less, being Section 1424R, Block III, Shotover Survey District. (For a site for a public hall.)

Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 17 acres 3 roods 6 perches, more or less, being part of Section 25, Block VI, Glenomaru Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by a public road, 187·3 links; towards the north-east by a public road, 2097·2 links and 460 links; towards the south generally by the Catlins River; and towards the west generally by the Owaka River, 4400 links.

Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 4 perches, more or less, being the other part of Section 25, Block VI, Glenomaru Survey District, being an island at the junction of the Catlins and Owaka Rivers and bounded towards the north-west generally by the Owaka River and towards the south-east generally by the Catlins River 2000 links; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

As the same are more particularly shown on the plan marked L. and S. 1/500, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (For a recreation reserve.)

to be a member of the Patearoa Domain Board, in place of John James Johnston (deceased).

Lancelot Claude Hall,
to be a member of the Thorpe Domain Board, in place of William Jameson Laing, resigned.

William Francis Pepperell,
to be a member of the Lichfield Domain Board, in place of John Edwin Allwood, left the district.
