Sale of Unclaimed Property.

IT is hereby notified that unclaimed property in the hands of the police at the various police-stations will, if not claimed before Saturday, the 17th February, 1934, be sold thereafter by public auction.
Particulars as to the time and place of sale may be obtained from the Superintendent or Inspector of Police in charge of the district.

The Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Assistant Registrar dissolving a Society.
I, JOHN CARADUS, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that as it has been made to appear to me that The Toko Assembly Hall Society, Incorporated (1910/5), is no longer carrying on its operations, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

Land Surveyors’ Examination, March, 1934, Australia and New Zealand.
The Survey Board of New Zealand,
Wellington, 23rd January, 1934.
IT is hereby notified, for general information, that the Survey Board, in conjunction with the Australian Surveyors Boards, will conduct an examination of candidates for licenses to survey, commencing at 10 a.m. on Monday, 12th March, 1934, at Wellington.
Candidates are notified that their applications, on the proper form, must reach the Secretary of the Board not later than Monday, 26th February, and that the examination fee as undernoted must be paid at the same time to the Secretary, from whom application forms and other particulars may be obtained.
Candidates sitting for the first time will not be accepted at this examination.
Candidates completing former sittings may sit in other centres where there is a Chief Surveyor’s office, on payment of an extra fee of £1 1s. in addition to the ordinary fees which are as under :—
Completing in one or two subjects, fee of £1 1s. per subject. (Physics-Geology-Forestry is not reckoned in this connection.)
Completing in all subjects, fee £5 5s.

THE result of the poll of trust voters held on Wednesday, the 17th day of January, 1934, is as under :—
Total number of voters for the proposal .. 352
Total number of voters against the proposal .. 164
As the total number of votes recorded for the proposal exceeds three-fifths of the total number of valid votes recorded at the poll, I do hereby declare the proposal to be carried.
