Land proclaimed as a Road in Block VIII, Egmont Survey District, Inglewood County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Egmont Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road :
32·8 perches.
Being portion of Section 155, Moa District.

Situated in Block VIII, Egmont Survey District. (S.O. 7144.)

In the Taranaki Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 86649, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of January, 1934.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Opunake Survey District, Taranaki Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of January, 1934.

Present :

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a cemetery reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 50, Block XI, Opunake Survey District : Area, 6 acres 0 roods 25 perches, more or less.

Authorizing exercise of Jurisdiction by the Native Land Court.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of January, 1934.

Present :

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS it is provided by section one hundred and thirty of the Native Land Act, 1931, that the Native Land Court shall not proceed to exercise in respect of any land the jurisdiction conferred upon that Court by Part V of that Act (relative to the ascertainment of equitable owners) unless authorized by Order in Council so to exercise the same :

And whereas the Native land described in the Schedule hereto was granted to Natives by the Crown prior to the twenty-third day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four :

And whereas the said land is confiscated land within the meaning of section one hundred and thirty-five of the said Act, but the trust expressed in the Crown grant is insufficiently defined :

And whereas the said land is not a Native Reserve within the meaning of section one hundred and thirty-four of the said Act :

And whereas it is expedient that the Native Land Court should be authorized to exercise in respect of that land the jurisdiction conferred by Part V of the said Act.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the authority conferred upon him by section one hundred and thirty of the Native Land Act, 1931, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Native Land Court to exercise in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto the jurisdiction conferred upon that Court by Part V of the Native Land Act, 1931.

SCHEDULE.

PARISH OF TE PUNA.

LOT 56, containing by admeasurement 38 acres, more or less, situated in Block IV, Tauranga Survey District.

Directing Application of Moneys received in respect of the Onairo Domain, Taranaki Land District, for the Purposes of the Urenui Domain.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of January, 1934.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section sixty-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that from the moneys received in respect of the Onairo Domain described in the First Schedule hereto, and at the date hereof lying to the credit of the said Domain, a sum not exceeding three hundred pounds shall be applied in managing, administering, and improving the Urenui Domain, described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—ONAIRO DOMAIN.

SECTION 8, Block III, Waitara Survey District : Area, 6 acres, more or less.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—URENUI DOMAIN.

Section 12, Block III, Waitara Survey District : Area, 57 acres, more or less.

Also Section 15, Block III, Waitara Survey District : Area, 1 acre 2 roods 4 perches, more or less.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations relating to the destruction of rabbits in the district under the jurisdiction of the Kiwitahi Rabbit Board, and doth hereby declare that the regulations hereby made shall come into force on the date of the publication of this Order in Council in the Gazette.
