If notice of dissent from the conversion of any debentures is not received by that date the debentures will be converted. The rate of interest on any debentures in respect of which dissent is signified as aforesaid will, by virtue of section 18 of the above-mentioned Act, be reduced to two-thirds of the original rate.

Further particulars as to the new debentures and the conversion generally may be obtained from the Secretary, South Taranaki Electric-power Board, Union Street, Hawera.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of THE DOMINION ACADEMY OF MUSIC, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of shareholders of the above company held on the 18th day of January, 1934, the following resolution was passed :—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, and that PERCY NORMAN QUARTERMAIN, of Christchurch, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of Timber Products, Limited, held on 22nd January, 1934, a special resolution that the company be

wound up voluntarily was confirmed, and GEORGE LAMPTON GLADDING, Public Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.

All persons, firms, or companies having claims against the company are requested to lodge proof of same at the office of the Liquidator, Nos. 2 and 3, First Floor, National Mutual Life Chambers, Shortland Street, Auckland, on or before 28th February, 1934, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in the distribution of the assets.

IN LIQUIDATION.

Kelly and Rattray, Limited : Registered under the Companies Act, 1908.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on 19th January, 1934, at 8 a.m., the following extraordinary resolution was passed :—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up the same and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that LESTOCK DES BRISAY STEWART, of Messrs. Stewart and Ross, Public Accountants, 701 Colonial Mutual Buildings, be and he is hereby appointed the Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

All creditors who have claims against the company should forthwith lodge same with the Liquidator, 701 Colonial Mutual Buildings, Auckland, otherwise they may be excluded from any dividend that may be declared.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and in the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute certain public works—namely, the construction of roads within the County of Franklin—and for the purposes of such public works the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken: And notice is hereby given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the clerk to the said Council, situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and are open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public works or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty days from the 22nd day of January, 1934, being the date of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.
