Declaring a Portion of Railway Reserve at Blenheim to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, it is provided that in the case of any land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, the Governor-General may, on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation, declare such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924, and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed of under that Act accordingly:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land :-

3 2 5·0 Part Railway Reserve (part Section 37, Wairau West).
0 0 24·1 Part Railway Reserve (part Section 50, Omaka).

Situated in Block XVI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, Marlborough County and Blenheim Borough. (S.O. 1605/77, red.)

In the Marlborough Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 2855, deposited in the office of the Government Railways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of April, 1934.

Additional Land at Mataura taken for the Purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway to take further land at Mataura, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 34·12 perches.
Portion of Section 14, Block XIII, Town of Mataura, Borough of Mataura. (S.O. 64/112.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 2997, deposited in the office of the Government Railways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of April, 1934.
