Change in Explosives Anchorage.
Position: Lat. 41° 16′ S., long. 174° 50′ E. (approx.).
Details: The anchorage for vessels with explosives has been changed to an area of four cables square with side 000°–180°. The centre of the area is 000° from Point Halswell beacon and 270° from Somes Island lighthouse.

Notice to Mariners No. 52 of 1933.
Marine Department,
Wellington, N.Z., 30th November, 1933.
NEW ZEALAND.—NORTH ISLAND.—AUCKLAND HARBOUR.
Alteration in Kohimarama Wharf and Light.
Position: Lat. 36° 51′ S., long. 174° 50′ E. (approx.).
Details: The length of the wharf has been reduced to 504 ft. A fixed red light exhibited at an elevation of 23 ft. marks the end of the wharf in place of the former white light. There is a depth of 3 ft. 6 in. at the end at M.L.W.S.

Experimental Beacons.
A BLACK diamond-shaped mark has been erected on each side of the front white beacon at a distance 7 ft. from the centre-line. These marks in line with the rear white beacon define the navigable width of the channel when working on the white beacons.
