Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan up to the amount of three hundred pounds (£300), and in giving such consent doth hereby determine as follows:—
(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be raised shall not exceed ten (10) years.
(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate exceeding four pounds five shillings (£4 5s.) per centum per annum.
(3) The said loan, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal annual or half-yearly instalments extending over the term as determined in (1) above.

Order in Council varying the Determinations in respect of the Hawera Hospital Board’s Loan of £47,000.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of December, 1933.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising by the Hawera Hospital Board (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) of the sum of forty-seven thousand pounds (£47,000) by a loan to be known as “Redemption Loan, 1933” (hereinafter called “the said loan”):
And whereas the said loan has not yet been raised, and it is expedient to vary certain of the determinations aforesaid:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby vary certain of the determinations aforesaid by prescribing as follows:—
- The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be raised shall not exceed fifteen (15) years.
- The rate or rates per centum of the payments to be made to the sinking fund to be established for the repayment of the said loan shall be not less than five pounds (£5).

Order in Council varying the Determinations in respect of Portion (£3,000) of the Tauranga Electric-power Board’s Loan of £25,000.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of December, 1933.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the ninth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising by the Tauranga Electric-power Board (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) of the sum of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000) by a loan to be known as “Electrical Extension Loan, 1929,” of which the sum of three thousand pounds (£3,000) (hereinafter called “the said sum”) has not yet been raised:
And whereas certain of the determinations aforesaid are that the rate of interest at which the said loan may be raised shall not exceed five pounds ten shillings (£5 10s.) per centum per annum, and that the term shall not exceed twenty-six (26) years, and that a sinking fund at the rate of two pounds (£2) per centum shall be established in respect thereof:
And whereas by reason of section three of the Local Authorities’ Loans (Rates of Interest) Act, 1931, and section six of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, it is not now lawful for the said local authority to raise the said sum at a rate of interest in excess of four pounds five shillings (£4 5s.) per centum per annum, and it is expedient to vary certain of the determinations aforesaid relating to the borrowing and repayment of the said sum:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby vary certain of the determinations aforesaid by prescribing that the said sum of three thousand pounds (£3,000) may be raised by the said local authority upon terms of making such sum, together with interest thereon at a rate not exceeding the above-mentioned rate of four pounds five shillings (£4 5s.) per centum per annum, repayable by annual instalments of principal of three hundred pounds (£300) extending over a period of ten (10) years.

WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the seventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising by the Kairanga County Council (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) of the sum of six thousand pounds (£6,000) by a loan to be known as “New Fitzherbert Bridge Loan, 1933” (hereinafter called “the said loan”):
And whereas the said loan has not yet been raised, and it is expedient to vary certain of the determinations aforesaid:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby vary certain of the determinations aforesaid by prescribing as follows:—
(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be raised shall not exceed twenty (20) years.
(2) The rate or rates per centum of the payments to be made to the sinking fund to be established for the repayment of the said loan shall be not less than three pounds seven shillings and sixpence (£3 7s. 6d.).
