Also all that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods 7·6 perches, more or less, and being part of Section 1338 of the Town of Reefton: Bounded towards the north by a public street known as The Strand, 1630·5 links; towards the west by Lot 1 of Section 1338, 150·3 links; towards the south-west, south-east, and east by public roads, 782·05 links, 918·1 links, and 50 links, respectively. As the same is delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 1/32, deposited in the Head Office of the Lands and Survey Department, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Fixing Dues for the Use of the Wharf at Otehei Bay, Bay of Islands.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of December, 1933.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, and published in the Gazette of the thirtieth day of the same month, at page 2830, New Zealand Deep Sea Angling, Limited (hereinafter referred to as “the company,” in which term is to be construed unless the context requires a different construction its successors or assigns), was licensed to occupy a site for a wharf at Otehei Bay, Bay of Islands:
And whereas the said company is desirous of charging dues for the use of the said wharf:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1923, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, doth hereby prescribe that the dues set forth in the Schedule hereto shall be charged and taken by the company for the use of the said wharf.
SCHEDULE.
EVERY person landing on or shipping from the said wharf shall pay to the said company the sum of 3d. per head.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of December, 1933.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, and published in the Gazette of the fourth day of that month, the control of the land described in the Schedule to that document, being a reserve for the protection of gannets, was vested in certain persons therein named, who were by the said Order in Council constituted a special Board, by the name of the Cape Kidnapper Bird Sanctuary Board, in pursuance of section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928:
And whereas it is desirable that Horace Spence Cottrell, of Napier, should be appointed a member of the said Board in place of Henry Hill, deceased.
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby appoint the said Horace Spence Cottrell to be a member of the Cape Kidnapper Bird Sanctuary Board constituted by the Order in Council dated the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, hereinbefore referred to, in place of the said Henry Hill, deceased.

Native Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block VII, Purua Survey District, Whangarei County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of December, 1933.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby proclaim and declare that the Native land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road as from the eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 31 perches.
Being customary Native land.
Situated in Block VII, Purua Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 27319.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 86362, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Order in Council authorizing the Borrowing of £200,000 by the Auckland City Council by way of Hypothecation of Debentures issued in respect of Loans of £100,000 and £100,000.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of December, 1933.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the thirteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising by the Auckland City Council (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) of the sum of two hundred thousand pounds (£200,000) (hereinafter called “the said sum”) by loans to be known as “Streets Improvement 1913 (£225,000) Redemption Loan, 1934, £100,000,” and “Additional Loan 1883 Redemption Loan, 1934, £100,000”:
And whereas the said sum has not yet been raised, and the said local authority, pending the raising of the said sum in accordance with the determinations aforesaid, is desirous of borrowing such sum by the hypothecation or mortgage, pursuant to section thirty-four of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, of debentures authorized to be issued in respect of the said loans:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and by section seven of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the said local authority, pending the raising of the said sum in accordance with the determinations aforesaid (by which, inter alia, the rate of interest to be inserted in the said debentures is limited to four pounds (£4) per centum and the term to four (4) years), borrowing such sum of £200,000 by the hypothecation or mortgage of the said debentures at a rate of interest not exceeding five pounds (£5) per centum per annum.
