Small lots of goods of Classes A, B, C, and D from Wellington to stations Opaki to Port Ahuriri inclusive will be charged pro rata at the local or classified rate (as the case may be), instead of under Regulation 71, General Scale of Charges; minimum charge, 2s.
With the following exceptions, goods consigned from Wellington to Pahiatua, Woodville, Dannevirke, Hastings, Napier, or Port Ahuriri, and charged at the classified or local rate for Classes A, B, C, and D, will be delivered within the areas as determined by the Department in that behalf.
Exceptions: Pianos, plate glass, motor-cars in cases, household removals, aeroplanes, boats, empty tanks, creamery and freezing vats, theatrical luggage, scenery, show exhibits, side-shows, contractors' plant, all vehicles, fish, any package exceeding 7 cwt. in weight or 20 ft. in length, and packages involving special cartage arrangements.
Benzine, kerosene, and similar oils will not be delivered at Dannevirke.
