Classification of Roads in Rangitikei County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Rangitikei County's proposed classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in Rangitikei County.
SCHEDULE.
RANGITIKEI COUNTY.
ROADS classified in Class Three: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 10 tons.
Main Highways.
Auckland-Wellington, via Taranaki Main Highway No. 1. (All that portion within Rangitikei County.)
Te Kuiti – Bulls, via Taumarunui Main Highway No. 23. (All that portion within Rangitikei County.)
Taihape-Napier Main Highway No. 51.
Awahuri-Mangaweka, via Kimbolton Main Highway No. 52. (All that portion within Rangitikei County.)
Greatford – Woodville Main Highway No. 55. (All that portion within Rangitikei County.)

Classification of Roads in Dannevirke County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Transport, do hereby revoke that portion of the Warrant classifying roads in the Dannevirke County, dated the 31st day of October, 1928, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 82 of the 1st day of November, 1928, and do hereby approve of the Dannevirke County's proposed classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in Dannevirke County.

THE following special order made by the Hawke’s Bay County Council on the 9th day of October, 1933, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928.

SPECIAL ORDER.
In pursuance of section 4 of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, the Hawke’s Bay County Council hereby declares Star thistle to be a noxious weed within the jurisdiction of the said Council.

“THAT in exercise of the special powers conferred upon it by the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, the Manawatu County Council hereby resolves and declares by way of special order that the plants mentioned in the Schedule hereto (being plants mentioned in the Second Schedule of the said Act) are noxious weeds within the County of Manawatu.”

Fennell (Foeniculum Vulagare).
Varying Notice under the Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22, and its Amendment, fixing the Closing-hours of Fruiterers’ Shops within the Borough of Te Aroha.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of all the fruiterers’ shops within the Borough of Te Aroha, has been forwarded to me, desiring that the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 9th May, 1929, fixing the closing-hours of fruiterers’ shops within the Borough of Te Aroha be varied as follows: All reference to closing-hours on Saturdays shall be deleted:
And whereas, I, Adam Hamilton, Minister of Labour, am satisfied that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the said shops within the said borough:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 32 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22, I do hereby direct that the said notice shall be and is hereby varied accordingly.

Leading-marks for Vessels berthing at Ferry Wharf.
VESSELS intending to berth at the Ferry Wharf should, after passing the light-vessel, approach the berth on or north of the line (265°) with the old Freezer Chimney in transit with the corner (painted black, and white diagonal striped) of the shed on the Ferry Wharf until the vessel’s stern is above the east end of the Ferry Wharf.
This leads through in not less than 21 ft. M.L.O.S.
