ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of October, 1933.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE G. W. FORBES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council made under the Cemeteries Act, 1882, and dated the twenty-eighth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the thirtieth day of the same month, it was ordered and directed that as on and from the first day of February, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, burials within the Bolton Street Cemetery, in the City of Wellington, shall be wholly discontinued:

And whereas it is expedient to vary the said Order in Council to the extent hereinafter set forth:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority in that behalf vested in him by the Cemeteries Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the said Order in Council, Henry Edmund Holland may be buried in the said cemetery.
