RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Stratford
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £1,750, authorized to be raised by the
Stratford Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act,
to be called “The Stratford Borough Abattoir Loan of
£1,750, 1932,” for the purpose of acquiring additional lands
and the erection of additional buildings and the equipment
thereof for the purpose of boiling-down works in connection
with the abattoir established by the Council pursuant to
the Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1908, the said Stratford
Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
one-ninth (1/9d.) of a penny in the pound (£1) sterling on the
rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all
rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Stratford,
and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring
rate during the currency of such loan, and to be payable
yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution
passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Stratford
Borough Council held on Monday, the 17th day of October,
1932.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore
subsisting between JAMES HENDERSON WILLIAMS,
HERBERT CORIDAS, and FRANCIS FEEHAN, carrying on business
at Napier as Builders and Contractors, under the style of
“J. H. Williams and Co.,” has been dissolved as from the
25th day of October, 1932, as far as concerns the said James
Henderson Williams, who retires from the said firm.
The remaining partners will continue in business under
the style of “Williams and Co.”
All debts of the partnership will be paid by, and all debts
due to the partnership must be paid to, the continuing
partners Herbert Coridas and Francis Feehan.
