Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby constitute by the specific name of the “Waikato
Central Rabbit District,” and declare that area of land
defined in the Schedule hereto to be a rabbit district under
and for the purposes of Part II of the said Act, and doth
hereby further declare that the basis on which the Board
to be established for the said district shall first levy its general
rate shall be on the basis of the acreage of the rateable
property in the said district.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Auckland Land District in the Matamata
and Waipa Counties bounded by a line commencing at a
point in Block IX, Cambridge Survey District, where the
Cambridge–Te Awamutu Main Highway intersects the
western boundary of the Leamington Town District; thence
in a southerly direction along the western boundary of the
Leamington Town District and the eastern boundaries of
Allotments 26 and 115, Pukekura Parish, to the northern-
most corner of Lot 1 on plan No. 23401, deposited in the
office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; thence
along the north-western and western boundaries of Lot 1
aforesaid and the western boundary of Lot 4 on plan No.
23401, deposited as aforesaid, to the south-western corner of
the last-mentioned lot; thence in an easterly direction
generally along the southern boundary of Lot 4 aforesaid,
the southern side of a public road, and its production across
a public road; thence in a south-easterly direction along a
public road to its junction with another public road at the
south-western corner of Allotment 192, Pukekura Parish;
thence in a south-easterly direction along the northern side of
a public road to its junction with another public road at the
south-eastern corner of Allotment 196, Pukekura Parish;
thence in a northerly direction generally along a public
road to its junction with the Cambridge–Maungatautari
Road; thence along a right line across the Cambridge-
Maungatautari Road to the south-west corner of Allotment
130A, Pukekura Parish; thence along the north-west bound-
ary of Allotment 130A, across Allotment 141A, and along the
north-western boundary of Allotment 140A, all of Pukekura
Parish, to the Waikato River; thence in a south-easterly
direction and thence in a southerly direction generally up
the Waikato River to the Mangare Stream; thence up the
Mangare Stream to a point in line with the south-western
boundary of Section 7A, Tautari Settlement, in Block XV,
Maungatautari Survey District; thence along a right line
and the south-western boundary of Section 7A aforesaid
to the south-eastern corner of Section 26, Tautari Settlement;
thence in a northerly direction generally along the south-
eastern boundary of Section 26 aforesaid, to and across a
public road, and along the south-western boundary of Section
10A, Tautari Settlement, to the Waiteti Stream; thence down
the Waiteti Stream to the Matamata County boundary;
thence along the Matamata County boundary to the Maunga-
tautari Trig. Station; thence in a south-westerly direction
along a right line to the north-eastern corner of the Mau-
gatautari No. 4G Block; thence along the south-eastern
boundary of Maungatautari No. 4G and the south-eastern
and south-western boundaries of Maungatautari No. 4G 2
Blocks; thence in a north-westerly direction generally along
the south-western and north-western boundaries of Mau-
gatautari No. 4H No. 8 Block and the north-eastern bound-
aries generally of Sections 10s, 5s, 4s, 2s, and 1s, all of Puahue
Settlement, to the Mangapiko Stream; thence down the
Mangapiko Stream to the Cambridge–Te Awamutu Main
Highway; thence in a north-easterly direction along the
Cambridge–Te Awamutu Main Highway to the point of
commencement.

Cook Islands Treasury Regulations.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of
October, 1932.
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him
by section thirty-four of the Cook Islands Act, 1915,
and of every other authority enabling him in this behalf,
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of

New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
amend the Cook Islands Treasury Regulations, 1916, in the
manner herein set forth.
REGULATIONS.
- (a) THESE regulations may be cited as the Cook Islands
Treasury Regulations Amendment, 1932.
(b) These regulations shall come into force on the date of
publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
(c) In these regulations the term “principal regulations”
means the Cook Islands Treasury Regulations, 1916. - Clause 4 of the principal regulations, as amended by the
Cook Islands Treasury Regulations Amendment, 1930, is
hereby revoked and the following substituted :—
“4. Public moneys shall be kept at the Bank of New
Zealand at either or both of its branches known as Auckland
in the City of Auckland, and North End in the City of
Wellington; at Auckland in two accounts to be distinguished
as the Cook Islands Treasury Account and the Niue Island
Treasury Account, respectively, and at Wellington in two
accounts to be called the Cook Islands Administration Account
and the Niue Island Administration Account, respectively.” - Clause 7 of the principal regulations is revoked and the
following substituted :—
“7. (1) Money shall be withdrawn from any of the said
bank accounts only by cheque crossed ‘Not Negotiable’ and
signed as hereinafter provided.
(2) None of the said bank accounts shall at any time be
overdrawn.
(3) Cheques on the Cook Islands Treasury Account shall
be signed by the Treasurer of Rarotonga and countersigned
by the Resident Commissioner of Rarotonga.
(4) Cheques on the Cook Islands Administration Account
shall be signed by the Accountant, Cook Islands Department,
and countersigned by the Secretary for the Cook Islands.
(5) Cheques on the Niue Island Treasury Account shall
be signed by the Treasurer of Niue and countersigned by the
Resident Commissioner of Niue.
(6) Cheques on the Niue Island Administration Account
shall be signed by the Accountant of the External Affairs
Department and countersigned by the Secretary for External
Affairs or other officer authorized by him to act in his stead.”

Dominion, doth hereby appoint

To be the Hinds No. 2 Domain Board, having control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
appoint Monday, the seventh day of November, one thousand
nine hundred and thirty-two, at eight o'clock p.m., as the
time when, and the Sports Pavilion, Hinds No. 2 Domain,
as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be
held.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—HINDS NO. 2 DOMAIN.
RESERVE No. 1262, Block VI, Hinds Survey District : Area,
9 acres 2 roods 33 perches.
