In the matter of the Administration Act, 1908, Part IV, and in the matter of the Estate of JOHN WILLIAM McCOMBE (commonly known as John McCombe), late of Christchurch, formerly a Jockey, but latterly Horse-trainer, deceased.

I hereby give notice that by an order of the Supreme Court, Christchurch, dated the 17th day of August, 1933, the above estate was ordered to be administered by me under the provisions of the above Act, and I hereby call a meeting of creditors to be held at my office, Government Departmental Buildings, Worcester Street, Christchurch, on Tuesday, the 5th day of September, 1933, at 10.30 a.m.

All claims against the above estate must be lodged with me on or before the 17th October, 1933.

AUCKLAND ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Auckland Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £224,500 authorized to be raised by the Auckland Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying a loan of that amount heretofore lawfully raised, the said Auckland Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fifth (1/5th) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Auckland Electric-power District, comprising the City of Auckland together with the Boroughs of Onehunga, Otahuhu, Mount Albert, Mount Eden, Newmarket, and One Tree Hill, the Road Districts of Mount Roskill, Panmure, and Mount Wellington, the Town Districts of Ellerslie, Papakura, Papatoetoe, Manurewa, and Howick, and the County of Manukau, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period expiring on the first day of March, 1938, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
