Land set apart as an Addition to an Education Reserve.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being a piece of road closed and being land which intersects the primary education endowment described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said endowment.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 35·5 perches, more or less, situated in Blocks III and IV, Opawa Survey District, and being part of the road closed by Proclamation dated the 24th day of March, 1933, and published in the Gazette of the 30th day of that month: Bounded towards the north-west by other piece of the said closed road; towards the north-east by part Education Reserve No. 1213, 979·9 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 100·0 links; and again towards the south-west by part Education Reserve No. 1213, 964·3 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 39303E, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 61 acres 1 rood 36·5 perches, more or less, being part Reserve No. 1213, Blocks III and IV, Opawa Survey District, and being part of the said reserve permanently set aside for educational purposes by notice published in the Canterbury Provincial Gazette of the 5th day of January, 1871, page 11, and apportioned for primary education by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 12th day of June, 1878, page 836.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of July, 1933.

Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of Provisional State Forest No. 1628 set apart by Proclamation dated the eleventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the fourteenth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 37 acres, more or less, being part of Provisional State Forest 1628, situated in Block II, Totara Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/98/69a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of July, 1933.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Whakatane Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
