Education Reserves for Lease.

Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 13th June, 1933.

THE undermentioned education reserves will be offered for lease by public auction at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, at 11 o’clock a.m. on Monday, 17th July, 1933, under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

SECTIONS 26, 27, 28, and part Section 37, Block IV, Mangakahia Survey District.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be offered for sale by public auction for cash or on deferred payments at the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, on Wednesday, 19th July, 1933, at 2 o’clock p.m., under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, and amendments.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—PATEA COUNTY.

PART Section 9, Town of Manutahi. Area: 2 acres 2 roods 27 perches. Upset price, £100.

Section comprises good flat land in grass, well sheltered by live hedges. There is a very old cottage and shed on the section.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be offered for sale by public action for cash at the District Lands and Survey Office, Christchurch, on Monday, 31st July, 1933, at 2.30 o’clock p.m., under section 152 of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—LAND OF SPECIAL VALUE.

RURAL Section 37203, Block III, Rangiora Survey District. Area: 1 acre 1 rood 14·8 perches. Upset price, £10 12s. 6d.

Situated on Sloan, Clarks, and Marshman’s Roads, two miles from Ashley School, Post-office, and Railway-station, and four miles and a half from Rangiora Saleyards. Soil is of fair loam on clay formation. Small area is broken, part steep, balance terrace faces and small flats intersected by old water-course. Suitable for grazing or a holding paddock. Patches of blackberry and gorse on terrace faces and flat.

Conditions of Sale.

  1. Cash: One-fifth of the purchase-money on the fall of the hammer, and the balance, with title fee (£1), within thirty days thereafter.

  2. If the purchaser fails to make the prescribed payment by due date, the amount (if any) already paid shall be forfeited and the contract for sale of the land shall be null and void.
