Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND FOREST CONSERVATION REGION.

(Part of Conical Hills Plantation.)

ALL that area of Crown Land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 19 acres 1 rood 7 perches, more or less, situated in Block XII, Glenkenich Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by a public road; towards the south-east by Section 9 (State forest—Gazette, 1906, page 2807), Section 1410R (State forest—Gazette, 1933, page 160), and Section 12, Block XII aforesaid (State forest—Gazette, 1906, page 2807); towards the south by a public road; and towards the north-west by Sections 3 and 8, Block XII aforesaid. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 204/38, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of June, 1933.

And whereas an error was made in the Schedule attached to the said Proclamation by describing an area situated in Block XIII, Waoku Survey District, as containing 1,160 acres, more or less, and whereas the correct area is 1,709 acres, more or less, and it is desirable that the error be rectified:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section three of the Forests Amendment Act, 1925, do hereby amend the said Proclamation by substituting for the area hereinbefore referred to in the Schedule attached to the said Proclamation the following area—namely, 1,709 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of June, 1933.

Amending a Proclamation setting apart National Endowment Land as and for Provisional State Forests.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, at page 3138 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Proclamation”), certain National Endowment land in the North Auckland Land District was set apart as and for a provisional State forest in terms of section thirty-four of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918:

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Karioi Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 rood.
Adjoining Section 7, Block I, and Section 1, Block II, Town of Waitangi, and Murimotu 4a Block (Run No. 2).

Situated in Block XII, Karioi Survey District. (S.O. plan 170/47.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 8/4/23A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2626, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of June, 1933.
