STANDARD time in the Territory of Western Samoa has been altered to correspond with the meridian of 165° west longitude, or 11 hrs. slow on Greenwich mean time.

NEW ZEALAND.—SOUTH ISLAND.—EAST COAST.
Akaroa Lighthouse.—Signal-station discontinued.

MARINERS are hereby notified that the signal-station has been discontinued, as telephone communication between the lighthouse and Akaroa Post-office is totally interrupted.

Charts affected: 1575—2532—2529—3629.
