Regulations under the Hawke's Bay Earthquake Act, 1931,
authorizing the use of Loan-moneys for other Purposes.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of
January, 1933.
Present:
HIs EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN exercise of the powers conferred by the Hawke's Bay
Earthquake Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth make the following regulations.
REGULATIONS.
THE Committee of Management for the Borough of Napier,
whilst such Committee shall be in office, and thereafter the
Napier Borough Council, shall have the power to use the
moneys mentioned in the Second Column of the Schedule
hereto, which moneys are in the separate accounts mentioned
in the First Column of the said Schedule, for the purpose of
street-widening and the making of new streets and service
lanes, including the payment of compensation, costs of
formation, and incidental expenses, and of reconstructing the
following Borough services-namely, sanitary drainage, storm-water drainage, water-supply, and roads and streets.

Setting aside Native Land as a Native Reservation.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day
of January, 1933.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section two hundred and ninety-eight of
the Native Land Act, 1931, it is enacted, inter alia,
that when any Native freehold land is owned at law or in
equity by more than ten owners in common, the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, set apart and reserve any
part of that land for the common use of the owners thereof
as in the said Act provided:
And whereas the Native Land Court has recommended that
the land described in the Schedule hereto be set apart as a
Native reservation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority hereinbefore mentioned, and all
other powers thereunto him enabling, and acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby set apart and reserve the Native
freehold land described in the Schedule hereto for the common
use of the owners thereof as a burial-ground.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of land situate in the Ikaroa Native Land Court
District, called or known as Paeroa, containing 10 acres, more
or less, and being all the land comprised and described in a
Memorial of Ownership (Volume 1, folio 83), dated the 3rd
day of February, 1880.

Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum
Industry Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of
January, 1933.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and sixty-two of the
Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council on the recommendation
of the Land Board, declare that any land comprised in a
kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to be specified in the
Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act,
1908, and on and after the date so specified the land to which
the Order relates shall become subject to the provisions of
the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas the Land Board of the North Auckland Land
District has duly passed a resolution recommending that
portion of the Hohoura Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 2,
as described in the Schedule hereto, be excepted from the
operations of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and it is
expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by
section one hundred and sixty-two of the Land Act, 1924,
and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare
that portion of the Hohoura Kauri-gum Reserve Extension
No. 2, as described in the Schedule hereto, shall, from the
thirtieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-three, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry
Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District containing
by admeasurement 75 acres, more or less, being portion of
the Hohoura Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 2, situate
in Block VI, Hohoura East Survey District. As the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
9/966, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North
Auckland Plan S.O. 21647.)

Declaring Road-lines adjoining and intersecting Land in
Waiteitei Settlement, North Auckland Land District, to be
closed, and the Land comprised therein to be subject to the Land
for Settlements Act, 1925.

WHEREAS a report has been received from the Surveyor-General from which it appears that the roads described in the Schedule hereto are unformed and unused, and
that the said roads are adjacent to or intersect land acquired
under the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, and are not suitable
to the subdivision of such land:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers conferred by section one hundred and
