The North-eastern Side of Portion of Saxton’s Road, in the County of Waimea, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of April, 1933.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Waimea County Council on the tenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, viz. :—

“ That the Waimea County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads within the Waimea County, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the following road : The north-east side of the road fronting part Section 61, Block VII, Waimea Survey District, for a distance of 1437·10 links in a westerly direction from the Nelson-Kawatere Railway Reserve, and marked ‘A-B’ on plan prepared by F. I. Ledger, Surveyor, Nelson, and coloured pink and green thereon ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-eastern side of the portion of Saxton’s Road (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.

SCHEDULE.

THE north-eastern side of all that portion of road situated in the Nelson Land District, County of Waimea, known as Saxton’s Road, fronting parts Section 61, Suburban South, Block VII, Waimea Survey District. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 85372, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink and green.

The South-western Side of Portion of Oxford Street, in the Borough of Richmond, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of April, 1933.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Richmond Borough Council on the fourteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, the portion of street affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :—

“ That the Richmond Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets of the Borough of Richmond, declares by resolution that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of Oxford Street on the south-western side, being part Lot 29 of Section 25, Oxford Street. The said portion of street is more particularly shown on plan thereof, and coloured red thereon between the points ‘ A ’ and ‘ B ’ ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-western side of the portion of Oxford Street (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

Revoking Notice exempting Crown Lands from certain Provisions of the Mining Act, 1926.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section seven of the Mining Act, 1926, and of every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby as from the date of the publication hereof in the Gazette revoke the notice dated the fifth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 2 of the twelfth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, on page 12, exempting Crown lands from certain provisions of the Mining Act, 1926 :

Also the notice dated the twenty-seventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 13 of the second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, page 372, exempting Crown lands from certain provisions of the Mining Act, 1926.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 10th day of April, 1933.
