Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street in the City of Auckland, at Avondale.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Auckland City Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of December, 1932.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for a further portion of the Gisborne-Rotorua Railway (Otoko Section) and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Waikohu County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 19·2 perches.
Being railway land.
Situated in Block II, Waikohu Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 1419, brown.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 84288, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured violet.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of December, 1932.
