NOTICE is hereby given that the lands in the First Schedule hereto will be offered for sale by public auction for cash and the lands in the Second Schedule for cash or on deferred payments at the District Lands and Survey Office, State Fire Insurance Buildings, Wellington, on Wednesday, 18th January, 1933, at 2.30 o'clock p.m. under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—SUBURBAN LAND.

Waimarino County.—Town of Horopito West.
SECTION 1, Block VI : Area, 1 rood. Upset price, £3. Section 2, Block VI : Area, 1 rood. Upset price, £3. Section 3, Block VI : Area, 1 rood. Upset price, £3. Section 5, Block VI : Area, 1 rood. Upset price, £3. Section 7, Block VI : Area, 1 rood. Upset price, £3. Sections 8 to 14, Block VI : Area, 5 acres 1 rood 9 perches. Upset price, £11. Weighted with £3 15s. for improvements, which sum is payable in cash.

Sections 1 to 6, Block VII : Area, 3 acres 2 roods 19-8 perches. Upset price, £7 10s. Weighted with improvements valued at £3, which sum is payable in cash.

Sections 1 to 7, Block VII : Area, 4 acres 0 roods 37-5 perches. Upset price, £8 10s.

These sections are all situated in the Township of Horopito and have frontages to main streets—approximately half a mile distant from Horopito Railway-station. Mostly level sections in poor quality pasture. Improvements consist of felling, grassing, and fencing.

SECOND SCHEDULE.
VILLAGE LANDS.

Ohakune Borough.—Town of Ohakune.
SECTION 12 : Area, 5 acres. Upset price, £35. Minimum deposit on deferred payments, £5. Weighted with the sum of £13 10s. for improvements consisting of felling and grassing, road and boundary fencing. This sum is payable in cash.

Situated within the Borough of Ohakune with frontage to Miro Road one quarter mile from Ohakune Railway-station. Undulating to hilly section approximately one-half in swamp, balance in poor quality pasture. Soil of a light loam. Well watered by stream. Altitude, 1,800 ft. above sea-level.

Raetihi Borough.—Town of Raetihi Extension No. 1.
Section 58 : Area, 3 acres. Upset price, £24. Minimum deposit on deferred payments, £4.

Weighted with the sum of £18 10s. for improvements consisting of felling and grassing, cowshed, and feed-room 32 ft. by 12 ft. (wooden walls and iron roof), and road and boundary fencing. This sum is payable in cash.

Situated within the Borough of Raetihi with frontage to Ward Street, one mile from Raetihi Railway-station by metalled road. Practically level section in poor quality pasture. Light quality loam. Well watered by stream. Altitude, 1,700 ft. above sea-level.

Lands in Otago Land District for Sale by Public Auction.
District Lands and Survey Office,
Dunedin, 6th December, 1932.
NOTICE is hereby given that the settlement land in First Schedule hereto will be offered for sale by public auction for cash or on deferred payments and the Crown lands in the Second Schedule for cash at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, at 11 o'clock a.m. on Monday, 16th January, 1933, under the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and the Land Act, 1924.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.
(For sale for cash or on deferred payments.)
Waitaki County.—Oamaru Survey District.—Ardgowan Settlement.
SECTION 122 : Area, 6 acres 3 roods 26 perches. Upset price, £70. Minimum deposit on deferred payments, £20. Deferred payments, minimum half-yearly instalments, £1 12s. 6d.

The section is situated close to Ardgowan-Weston Road, about two miles and a half from Oamaru Post-office and School. The soil is of good quality, resting on clay formation. There is no water available. The section is practically covered with old and young gum-trees of poor quality.

SECOND SCHEDULE.
CROWN LAND.—THIRD-CLASS LAND.
(For sale for cash.)
Clutha County.—Glenomaru Survey District.
SECTION 87, Block VIII : Area, 9 acres 1 rood 37 perches. Upset price, £10.

The section is situated about two miles from Owaka by formed and part metalled road, and consists of mostly kami bush and native scrub. The soil is of a light loam resting on a rock bottom. The section is well watered by a creek.

Clutha County.—Woodland Survey District.
Section 19, Block VI : Area, 14 acres 1 rood 16 perches. Upset price, £10.

The section is situated at the junction of the Puketiro Road with the main Owaka-Chaslands Road, about three miles from Caberfeidh Railway-station, and about eleven miles from Owaka by good formed and metalled road. The section is slightly undulating, faces the north, and comprises scrub and small undergrowth. The soil is of a light sharp loam resting on a clay and rock bottom. The section is watered by a spring.
