THE following notice, received from the Mayor, Pukekohe Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.

BOROUGH OF PUKEKOHE.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers in the Drainage Special-rating Area of the Borough of Pukekohe, taken on the 30th day of November, 1932, on the proposal of the Borough Council to borrow the sum of fourteen thousand pounds (£14,000) for the purposes of providing buildings, engines, machinery, and other things and services whatsoever necessary for the good and efficient drainage and sewerage of that portion of the Borough of Pukekohe defined as the “Drainage Area” in the Pukekohe Borough Council General By-laws, 1928, Part 15—

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 102.
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 175.
And I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

The Sharebrokers Act, 1908.—Amendment to the Rules of the Stock Exchange Association of New Zealand.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General in Council has been pleased to approve of the following amendments to the rules and additional rules of the Stock Exchange Association of New Zealand.

STOCK EXCHANGE ASSOCIATION OF NEW ZEALAND.

AMENDMENTS and additional rules passed at the annual general meeting of the Stock Exchange Association of New Zealand, held in Wellington on the 2nd November, 1932.

Rule 13: Add at end—
The annual general meeting shall be held in Wellington.

Rule 47: Amended to read—
Accrued interest shall not be taken into account on sales of Government, local-body, or other debentures or inscribed stock, but shall be included in the sale price.

Rule 106: Add the following new rules as subsections (f) and (g)—
(f) Companies which are at present listed shall no longer have the privilege of any preference or debenture issue which they make becoming automatically listed, but shall apply for a separate listing for each new issue without further fee.
(g) It shall be permissible for any Stock Exchange to issue an unofficial list of bonds, stocks, and shares not listed on any Stock Exchange, provided that such list shall state in conspicuous letters:—
(i) That the shares therein listed are not quoted on the official list.
(ii) That all transactions in the shares quoted are subject to double rate of brokerage as provided by Rule No. 46.

Rule 121—
The word “shall” in the second line shall be altered to the word “may.”

Special Order made by Waiapu County Council altering Riding Boundaries.

THE following special order made by the Waiapu County Council is published in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Act, 1920.

Pursuant to section 100 of that Act, as amended by section 3 of the Counties Amendment Act, 1921–22, I hereby fix the 31st day of March, 1933, as the date from which the special order shall take effect.

WAIAPU COUNTY COUNCIL.

SPECIAL ORDER.

THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act, 1920, the Waiapu County Council does hereby alter the boundary-line between the Awanui Riding and the Tapuwaeroa Riding, and the boundaries as so altered are shown on the plan and described in the Schedule hereto.

This special order shall take effect on a date to be fixed in that behalf by the Minister and notified in the Gazette.

The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waiapu was hereby affixed in the presence of—

AWANUI RIDING.

Commencing at a point, Ngatawakawaka, on the seashore at East Cape, at the south-east corner of Marangairoa 1c 6E 1, Block XVI, East Cape Survey District; thence in a southerly direction by the seashore to the centre of the Reporua Stream; again in a westerly direction generally by the centre of the Reporua Stream, to and by the southern boundary of Ahikouka A 2, A 3B, A 4, B 12, Kainanga A 3B, A 1A, across a public road and Kainanga A 1B; thence by a line in production of the southern boundary of the said Kainanga A 1B to the centre of the Waiapu River; thence in a northerly direction by the centre of the Waiapu River to its confluence with the Mangaoporo River, by the centre of the said Mangaoporo River to a point in line with the production of the eastern boundary of Poroporo 1B Block; by a right line to and by the eastern and northern boundary of the said Poroporo 1B Block, the western boundary of Sections 9 and 8, Block VIII, Mangaoporo Survey District to the southernmost corner of Section 1, Block VII, Mangaoporo Survey District; to and across one chain road reserve to the centre of the Poroporo Stream; thence in a westerly direction by the centre of the Poroporo Stream to the eastern boundary of Section 2, Block VII, Mangaoporo Survey District; thence in a northerly direction across the abutment of a one chain road reserve; again by the western boundary of Section 1, Block VII, Mangaoporo Survey District, to the southern boundary of Section 4, Block III, Mangaoporo Survey District; thence
