Lands permanently reserved in the Nelson and Canterbury Land Districts.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
And whereas by the three-hundred-and-sixtieth section of the said Act it is provided that land temporarily reserved under the said three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section may, at the expiration of one month, but not later than six months, after the publication in the Gazette of notice of such temporary reservation, be permanently reserved, and that notice of such permanent reservation shall be published in the Gazette:
And whereas the lands described in the Schedule hereto were, by Warrant dated the eleventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and published in Gazette of the thirteenth day of that month, temporarily reserved under the authority of the said Act for recreation purposes:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby permanently reserve the lands described in the Schedule hereto for recreation purposes for which the said lands were so temporarily reserved as aforesaid.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, situated in Block XV, Wai-iti Survey District, containing 2 acres, more or less, and being part of the land conveyed to the Superintendent of the Province of Nelson as part of Section No. 156, of Waimea South Original District, which said Section No. 156 was part of the land originally Crown-granted as Section No. X of Waimea South Original District: Bounded towards the west by the Wai-iti River; towards the north by main road; towards the east by a road; and towards the south-west by the Wai-iti River: exempting therefrom that portion of the Murchison–Nelson Railway Reserve lying within the foregoing area. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/184, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 28 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve No. 1919, Block XII, Grey Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by a public road, 383·1 links; towards the north-east by Rural Section No. 7988; towards the south by Lawcock’s Road, 462·15 links; and again towards the south-west by Rural Section No. 6935. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/634, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Appointment of Cemetery Trustees revoked, Naseby Public Cemetery.—(H.C. 150.)

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section four of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke a certain warrant dated the eighth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the sixteenth day of the same month, appointing trustees for the Naseby Public Cemetery as described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
NASEBY PUBLIC CEMETERY.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being the Cemetery Reserve, Town of Naseby, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by a public road, 833·5 links; towards the east by a public road, 1200 links; towards the south by a public road, 833·5 links; towards the west by Crown land, 1200 links. Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 24th day of November, 1932.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons whose names are set out in the Schedule hereto, being officers in the service of the Crown holding the offices stated opposite their names respectively in the said Schedule, are authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

Amendments to the Regulations under the Public Service Act, 1912.
IN pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred on him by the Public Service Act, 1912 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), the Commissioner, with the approval of the Governor-General in Council, doth hereby, in respect of the regulations made under the said Act on the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and the amendments thereof made from time to time under the provisions of the said Act, make the amendments shown in the Schedule hereto.
Such amendments shall have effect on and from the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
REGULATION 150 is hereby amended by adding the following:—
“(u) In the Administration of Western Samoa, by the Secretary to the Administration.
“(v) In the New Zealand Reparation Estates, Western Samoa, by the General Manager.
“(w) In the Cook Islands, by the Resident Commissioners, Raratonga and Niue.”
