the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth, hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the One Tree Hill Borough Council on the twenty-sixth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, viz. :—

“ That the One Tree Hill Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of One Tree Hill, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of Heald Road, adjoining Allotment 72, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, S.O. Plan 24909, and Lot 1 of Allotment 63, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, D.P. 8577 ” ;

the portion of street affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

THE western side of all that portion of street situated in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of One Tree Hill, known as Heald Road, fronting Allotment 72 of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 84813, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Ohai Railway Board.—Fixing Date of Election.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the Local Railways Act, 1914, the Local Railways Amendment Act, 1926, and the Ohai Railway Board Act, 1932, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the twenty-eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, as the day on which shall be held the said election of the members of the Ohai Railway Board.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 19th day of November, 1932.

Declaring Lands in the Hawke’s Bay Land District to be subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section one hundred and five of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the areas of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and shall hereafter form part of Kakariki Settlement.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District containing by admeasurement 66 acres 3 roods 8 perches, more or less, being Crown land situated in Block VII, Mohaka Survey District: Bounded, commencing at the intersection of a public road with the south-western boundary of Section 3, Block VII, Mohaka Survey District; thence by right lines along the western boundaries of the said Section 3, and Block 64, Mohaka Crown Grant District, bearing 172° 17′, distance 2018·3 links, bearing 252° 31′, distance 452 links, bearing 312° 50′, distance 425 links, bearing 221° 58′, distance 2007 links, bearing 132° 50′, distance 2102 links, to the southern boundary of the said Block 64; thence by a right line along the northern boundaries of Pastoral Run No. 5, and Small Grazing-run No. 36, bearing 276° 34′, distance 2105·8 links to the eastern boundary of the said Small Grazing-run No. 36; thence by right lines along the eastern boundary of the aforesaid Small Grazing-run No. 36 and the abuttal of a public road bearing 0° 00′, distance 3194·5 links, bearing 60° 23′, distance 2246·7 links, bearing 61° 33′, distance 467·5 links to the point of commencement, and shown edged green on the plan marked L. and S. 21/149/505 deposited under No. 2603 in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, and more particularly delineated on the plan marked “ A ” annexed to the aforesaid plan.

And also all that area containing by admeasurement 15 acres 0 roods 38·2 perches, more or less, being closed roads passing through Blocks 23, 68, 70, Mohaka Crown Grant District, and Pastoral Run No. 5, Block VII, Mohaka Survey District, and shown coloured green on the plan marked L. and S. 21/149/505, deposited under No. 2603 in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, and more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 43691, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 19th day of November, 1932.

Land temporarily reserved in the Canterbury Land District for a Resting-place for Travelling Stock.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Canterbury Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written for a resting-place for travelling stock.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 35 acres, more or less, and being part of Reserve No. 3421, situated in Block XIII, Culverden Survey District, and bounded as follows : Towards the north-west by the main Waiau Road, 3115·2 links ; towards the north-east by other part of Reserve No. 3421, 1560·0 links ; and again towards the south generally by the Hurunui River. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/99/5A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 12th day of November, 1932.

Revoking a Warrant notifying Land in North Auckland Land District for Disposal under Section 20 of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1912.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

BY virtue of section three of the Land Act, 1924, the Governor-General doth hereby revoke the Warrant dated the seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and published in Gazette No. 46 of the fifteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, notifying Section 37, Block VI, Hohoura East Survey District, as set apart for disposal under section twenty of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1912.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 19th day of November, 1932.

Member of Island Council of Atiu appointed.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

PURSUANT to section sixty-five of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, and to an Order in Council made thereunder on the twenty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, His Excellency the Governor-General doth hereby appoint

Ngapuka, of the District of Tengatangi,

to be a member of the Island Council of Atiu, in lieu of Tamaka (deceased), to hold office during his pleasure as from the date hereof.

As witness the hand of his Excellency the Governor-General, this 17th day of November, 1932.
